Large 3 storey early C19 house set at the lower corner of the street. Rubble
walls with painted architectural detail. Cornice at 2nd floor level. 3 windows
with painted surrounds, sashes with glazing bars. Solid porch with cornice and
double 3-panel doors. Area railings. 1 storey extension at basement level on
west side in neo-Greek style. Tapering and shouldered architrave surrounds to
windows. Entrance with Ionic columns and triangular pediment.
Nos 1 to 3 (consec), St Antony's School, Nos 36 and 38 Hill Road, and Christiana,
Copse Road form a group.
