metres north of stables
at Azerley Park

Hay barn. Probably mid - late C19 (post 1860, Harvey p 154). Red brick,
English bond; pantile roof with eaves course of stone slates. Tall 5-bay
building of Dutch barn type. West and east sides: brick piers support roof
structure, spaces between piers on west side infilled with brick and stone
walling. Gable coping. South and north gables have rows of clay pipes
