The list description should be amended to read:

Farmhouse. C14 or C15, with C16 addition, early C18 and mid C19 encasing and minor
C20 additions and alterations. Timber framing, encased with limestone ashlar, red
brick in English bond and rubble walling. Westmorland slate roof. L-shaped plan,
two storeys, each wing with three bays. South elevation has advanced wing to right
with early C18 brick encasing to side walls with first floor bands and C16 end wall
which has ashlar ground floor and brick first floor with stone dressings and quoins.
Ground floor has central recessed and chamfered mullion window with three round
headed lights and hoodmould, first floor has recessed and chamfered surround with
hoodmould and 3-light side sliding glazing bar sash. Recessed wing to west has C19
porch in angle and scattered C20 fenestration. East elevation has four panel door
to left of centre with blind window over. Three 16 pane sashes to ground floor
below flat brick arches, three four pane sashes over. Hipped roofs, gableted to
eastern wing with large brick ridge stacks to either wing and external brick stack
to rear of east wing. Interior has four pairs of substantial timber posts to each
wing, mostly with side braces and with large cambered tie beams. Roof of west
range has 8 collared common rafters with smoke blackening on those next to the C17
brick stack, east wing also has common rafter roof with hips to either end. Floors
in east range incorporate many grooved partition studs. Plain dogleg staircase
through two floors on carriage planks with C20 balusters and newels, probably in
original position at north-west junction of two wings. South room to ground floor
of east range has C17 plasterwork ceiling with ribwork panels decorated with pendents
and roses, and moulded cornice to east and west sides, also arched fireplace with
broken pedimented overmantle. Similar fireplace in room over with plaster shields
in cartouches. Early C18 2-light timber mullion window to northern first floor room
in east range and early C19 fireplace. History: The site of one of the Archbishop
of Yorks hunting lodges in Ripon Park. Unoccupied at time of re-survey.

House. C16 with C19 alterations. Red brick, English bond, and rubble with
ashlar remains of earlier structure; Westmorland slate roof. L-shaped plan
with rear wing. 2 storeys, 4 first-floor windows on east front, one
blocked. 4-panel door to left of centre, blind window above. 16-pane
sashes to ground floor, 4-pane side-sliding sashes to first floor.
Projecting band of 3 courses of brick at first-floor level. Hipped roof
with gablets. Large ridge stack above door and external stack to right
gable. Rear (west): central lean-to porch in angle between projecting wing
and main block. Left (south) gable: ashlar ground floor with mullioned
window of 3 round-headed lights under a hood-mould. First floor: brick,
with stone window surround; 3-light side-sliding sash with glazing bars;
hood-mould. Lean-to additions to rear wing, not of special interest.
Interior: south room of main block has C16 plaster ceiling with pendants and
roses. The fireplace in this room has an overmantle with large broken
segmental pediment. Another fireplace is said in the previous list
description to have an overmantle decorated with 2 panels bearing
escutcheons, framed by broken pilasters. The house probably occupies the
site of one of the hunting lodges in the Archbishop of York's Ripon Park.
It was unoccupied at the time of resurvey.
