House. Late C17 with C20 additions and alterations. Coursed squared
gritstone, pantile roof with gritstone slates to eaves and stone slates to
addition. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with 2-bay addition to right. Central door in
quoined surround with barred run-out stop to chamfer, enclosed by a gabled
open porch with stone bench to left. Recessed-chamfered mullion windows: of
4 lights to left of entrance, of 1 and 3 lights to right. First floor:
square casement window flanked by 3-light recessed-chamfered mullion windows
reduced to 2 lights. External stack to right; corniced end stacks. 2-bay
addition: board door to right, 3-light C20 mullioned window left. Interior
of house: moulded stone surround to fireplace with shallow 4-centred arch,
right.
