9/104 The Old Vicarage

Vicarage, now private house. 1798-1800, enlarged 1832. Coursed. squared
gritstone, graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Quoins. Central
C19 porch with glazed double doors covers original entrance with. fanlight
and hood of 2 pitched stone slabs supported on shaped console-brackets. 4-
pane sashes in stone surrounds with projecting sills throughout, those to
first floor almost square. Gable coping right, end and central stacks.
Right return (facing towards Chapel Lane): band at eaves level, semicircular
recess in gable.
