House. Early C18 altered and enlarged C19 and refenestrated mid C20.
Red/brown brick, Welsh slate roof. 3-cell baffle-entry plan. 2 storeys, 3
bays. Half-glazed door in plain surround between bays 2 and 3; small square
3-light casement windows throughout. Projecting 2-course first-floor band.
Ridge stacks above entrance and at left gable end. Rear: C19 fenestration.
Left return rendered. Right return: tumbled-in brick work to gable follows
the line of original outshut roof. Attached lean-to outbuildings not of
special interest. Interior: large mantle beam to fireplace in central room.
Ceiling beams boxed in. Bases of principal rafters visible in upper rooms;
they are of slight scantling and appear to be C19 trusses. The building
disused and neglected at time of resurvey.
