14/13 Grantley Old Hall

Farmhouse. Late C17. Ashlar, graduated stone slate roof. Double-range
plan, 3 storeys, 4 bays. Quoins. Central half-glazed door set in moulded
chamfered stone surround with 4-centred arch, and a continuous hoodmould,
above a square tablet with hoodmould. All 4 windows to first and ground
floors are 2-light casements in chamfered stone surrounds with continuous
hoodmoulds. Second floor: four 2-light chamfered mullioned windows. Shaped
kneelers, moulded coping, end stacks. Right return has board door with
chamfered stone basket-headed lintel. Rear: has 2, 3, 4 and 5-light
chamfered mullioned windows,some with stepped hoodmoulds.
