The entrance front faces west on to The Avenue. Mid to late C19 Gothic lodge.
Mostly 1 storey with 2 storey tower on south side. Rusticated masonry with
ashlar dressings. Sill band to 1st floor of tower. Half-hipped slate roofs
with some ridge cresting and large metal finial. Stone stacks with crenellated
tops and interlace detail. Small gablet with finial in angle of range to left.
Some brackets and bargeboards at eaves. 3 windows (on 2 storeys to right).
Paired pointed lights with stone mullion and transom. Openwork glazed Gothic
porch to entrance.
