Melbourne House
ST 4072 2/132
2 storey early/mid C19 house set high above the road. Rubble front with some
ashlar dressings. Centre breaks forward slightly. Banded quoins. Stringcourses.
Moulded cornice and parapet. 3 windows in plain surrounds with sill brackets
and shutters in metal frames. Sashes with glazing bars. Splayed bays to ground
floor. One of a pair with Stancliff House.

Stancliff House and Melbourne House form a group.
