House. Dendrochronological date of 1644-9. Brick in random bond, pantile
roof with stone slates to rear. 4-cell baffle-entry house, the fourth cell
having probably originally formed a cow byre or barn. Continuous outshut to
rear, facing the road. Garden front: 2 storeys, 5 first-floor windows.
Half-glazed door. 2-light casement and 2-light Yorkshire sash to left.
2-light Yorkshire sash and blocked rectangular vents and inserted C20
casement to right. 3-course band with moulded lower course. First floor:
2-light Yorkshire sashes with exception of casement to fourth opening.
Stepped eaves band. Raised gable ends. End and ridge stacks. Interior:
staircase immediately opposed to front door, probably in original position.
Several original 4-panel doors on H-L hinges.
