House. Late C18 probably with earlier origins. Brick in English bond,
pantile roof. Central-hallway entry. 2 storeys, 3 bays. 4-panel door with
overlight with 2-light Yorkshire sash beneath segmental arch to left and C20
3-light casement to left. First floor: dummy central window flanked by
2-light Yorkshire sashes. Raised gable ends, rebuilt end stacks. Interior:
blocked windows discovered to either side of the staircase during renovation
suggest that it was once housed in a rear turret, now built into the house.
Some hand-cut cross beams and joists survive on the ground floor. Brick-
built bread oven to sitting room. Common rafter roof, pegged at apex, with
intermittent tie-beams.
