and railings

GV II

House with gates and railings. Mid C18. Brick in Flemish bond, pantile
roof. Central hallway entry. 2 storeys, 3 bays. C20 half-glazed door with
C20 pedimented canopy above. Plate-glass sashes throughout with blocked
opening to centre of first floor. Ground-floor windows below flat arches.
First-floor band and dentilled eaves course. Raised gable ends, end stacks.
Interior: round-headed alcoves flank fireplaces in reception rooms. Some H-
L hinges survive to cupboard doors. Gates and railings to front of
property: fleur-de-lys finials to bars and acorn finials to posts with
exception of ball finials to gate posts.
