2/51 Vicarage Farmhouse


Farmhouse. C18. Red brick in Flemish bond, pantile roof with eaves course
of stone slates. 2 storeys, 3 wide bays. 4-panel door below cambered brick
arch between bays 2 and 3, almost central; glazing bar sashes throughout
with slightly cambered arches and shallow sills. Blocked doorways far left
and to right of centre. Projecting first-floor band; rebuilt brick stacks
to ridge to right of entrance, and far left. Interior not inspected.
Included for group value. Possibly built as a row of 3 single-bay cottages,
with farm use for the right-hand end.
