Lodge. Early C19 with C20 rear extension. Probably by Robert Lugar for
R.J.Thompson. Limestone ashlar with slate roof; stone slate roof to
porch. Picturesque style. 1-storey, 1-bay front with pedimented
projecting porch. Porch has round-arched opening of voussoirs beneath
hoodmould on foliate stops. Unglazed round-headed opening in right
return. 6-panel double doors in square-headed fluted surround, with angle
roundels, within porch. Returns: each return has a round-headed, radial-
glazed window with replacement small-pane casement, set in a round-
arched recess with archivolt of voussoirs. Painted stone sills to
windows. Overhanging eaves on heavy brackets to pyramidal roof. Rear
