Farmhouse. Early C19 with later C19 alteration. Orange-red brick in
English bond, with stone slate roof. 2-storey-and-attic, 1-window
projecting centre bay, flanked by 2-storey, 1-window wings. Entrance in
right return of right wing. 2-storey round-arched recess with impost band
in centre. Windows are 3-light, small-pane replacements, with segmental
arches on ground and attic floors. Windows in wings also small-pane
replacement casements; impost band from centre bay continues at first
floor level. Brick dentilled eaves band continues across entire front.
Centre and rear ridge stacks to centre roof, hipped at front. Wing roofs
hipped. Right return: full-height round-arched recess. Part-glazed,
4-panel door beneath divided overlight, at left of canted bay window with
4-pane sashes. First floor band above bay window, and dentilled eaves
band.
