Low Foxton Farmhouse
and attached


C18 with alterations. Local handmade brick. Roof renewed in modern tiles, brick end
chimneys rendered. Tumbled-in brickwork to gables. Two storeys, three windows, wide
proportions. Early-mid C19 sashes with vertical bars in wood architraves, under
gauged flat brick arches at right. Central French door.

Rear elevation has small casements. Interior shows a few chamfered beams and boarded

U-shaped range of buildings of early-mid C19, red brick and pantiled attached to east
end of farmhouse: stables to left, barn to right with segmental arched openings and
diaper pattern vents.
