1865-67. Shallow crescent of 19 houses, now various hotels. Ashlar with rusticated
ground floors, mostly painted. Three storeys and attic, 2 windows to each house,(1)
4 to central house. Porches have flat entablature on columns with floral capitals;
some retain large pineapple finials. Attics of central 5 and end houses have tall
stone gabled dormers with broken segmental pediments. Some houses retain lower
gabled dormers with broken pediments. Front to sea imposing and less altered.
