Mid C14 chancel and West tower. Body of church 1767-77. Large coursed squared
sandstone with plinth, cill band, alternating quoins, moulded cornice and parapet;
Welsh slate roof. Four windows to nave.
Truncated chancel has diagonal buttresses, low pitched roof and added vestry. Tower
of 3 stages also with diagonal buttresses and battlemented parapet. Porch in angle
between tower and nave. OSBM to left of West door.
Interior a plain preaching box with coved and panelled ceiling. Priest's door and
tomb recess in chancel and monument to Sir Henry Marwood Bart. 1764, pedimented slab
with cherub below. One good C19 window. Modern screen to Lady Chapel; and pulpit by
Thompson.
