Public House. Dated 1772. Rendered; bitumenised blue slate roof. 3 storeys,
4 bays. C20 gabled timber and brick porch masks 6-panel door (now part-glazed)
with strap hinges in plain stone surround on plinth blocks under 2-piece gabled

12-pane sashes to ground and first-floors. Side-sliding sashes to 2nd floor.
Dentilled eaves. Shaped kneelers; coping. Rebuilt brick end stacks and another
to ridge. Lean-to C20 addition on right and other C20 additions not of special
interest. Interior: Chamfered spine-beams. Part of original stair survives,
with 2 turned balusters per tread. 2nd floor originally one large room. King-
post trusses with bolted braces.
