3/31 Old Hall Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early to mid C18. Coursed rubblestone, ashlar and red brick,
pantile roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, that to left lower. Brick quoins. 4-
panel door and overlight in stone-quoined surround with keyed stone flat
arch. Ground floor: 4-pane sashes under stone lintels with stone sills.
First floor: left-hand bay has 4-pane side-sliding sash; other bays have 4-
pane sashes; all have stone sills. Dentilled eaves. Shaped kneelers, stone
coping, end stacks. Interior: ground-floor room in lower bay has inglenook,
large-scantling beams and dog-leg staircase leading to farmhands' room
above. Main staircase has splat balusters.
