GV II*
House. C17. Ashlar and coursed squared stone, pantile roof. H-shaped now
T-shaped; 3 storeys, 6 bays with lower central wing to rear containing main
doorway to house. Main front: plinth; scattered fenestration with board
door to bay 3; external stacks to inside of outer bays. Double-
chamfered cross windows, blind to left hay, first floor of bay 2 and
ground floor of bay 4. First and second-floor string courses. Second floor
has one blind oval window with keystones. Shaped kneelers, stone coping.
Rear: right return of rear wing has board door in rusticated arched surround
with moulded impost band and frame, first-floor string course. Interior:
oak staircase with oak newels and turned balusters. 2 ground-floor rooms
have oak panelling up to dado level, one wall of full-height panelling.
First floor: room with linenfold panelling and carved shield over doorway.
