Church. C12, C14, C15 and C19. Coursed squared stone and ashlar.
Graduated stone slate and Welsh slate roofs. Nave with south porch, chancel
with north vestry. Nave: 2 bays. Set-back buttresses at each end, diagonal
at west end. Gabled porch on left has chamfered pointed-arch doorway;
original C12 board door, hung inside on wall; and inner C12 doorway with
shafts with scalloped capitals and zigzag and roll moulding to arch. To
right of porch, a 2-light cusped flat-arched window. Embattled parapet.
West gable has wide gabled bellcote, probably C15. Pointed-arched cusped
2-light west window. Chancel: diagonal buttress to east end, small pointed-
arched board door in chamfered surround with a small one-light pointed-
arched window to its left. To right, a C15 double-chamfered 2-light cusped
flat-arched window. Eaves cornice, stone coping. East end: C14-C15 3-light
cusped pointed-arched window. North vestry: C19. Gabled with diagonal
buttresses and 3-light Perpendicular-style window. Interior: C12 chancel
arch, heavily restored. Nave has shallow king-post roof of 3 trusses, each
having a carved crest in the centre. Font: heavy C17 font has chamfered
square base and tapering banded shaft supporting chamfered square bowl. C18
royal arms over chancel arch.
