House. Early C19 and later C19. Red brick in Flemish bond. Graduated
stone slate and Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays; 1:3:1. Left-hand bay
is C19. Central bay, breaking forward slightly, has 5 steps to 6-panel door
and overlight in semicircular porch which has 2 plain Greek Doric half
columns and 2 pilasters supporting frieze and cornice. The door is flanked
by sashes with glazing bars. Other bays have tripartite windows with
glazing bars, except right-hand bay which has a sash with glazing bars.
First floor: central and left-hand bays have tripartite windows with glazing
bars, other bays have sashes with glazing bars. All windows have stone
sills and keyed flat stuccoed arches. Dentilled wooden cornice, blocking
course above central bay. Roof hipped over central 3 bays and outer bays.
Stacks to inside of outer bays. In centre is a large stack with cornice, to
its centre is a 5-pane window.
