Leech house. Late C18. Red brick, lead roof. Almost square in plan.
1 storey, 1 bay. Board door in triangular-headed surround with ashlar
keystone. Other sides have small window openings with stone sills and
triangular heads with ashlar keystones. Embattled parapet. Interior:
small contemporary corner cast-iron fire grate. A rare example of a
building by a river designed for a doctor to house leeches, for use in his
profession.
