Originally agricultural implement makers. c1840-50. Red brick, asbestos
roof. L-shaped plan. 3 left-hand bays of 2 storeys, 8-bay lower wing at
right angles to right. Lower wing has arcaded bays with elliptical arches.
Bay 3, 4 and 5 of this wing have metal framed windows, right return has 3
pointed-arched windows. 3 left-hand bays under wide gable: outer bays have
full-height round-arched brick recesses, central bay has full-height
pointed-arched brick recess. The ground floor has 3 blind segmental-arched-
recesses. First-floor band. First floor: central bay blind, outer bays
have metal framed windows with radial glazing bars to head. Panelled aprons
to each bay. To left return along road, blind arcading of round-headed
arches with round-arched recesses within each arch to first floor.
