2/6 The Vicarage
Vicarage. Late C18. Rendered, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays, 1:3:1.
Outer bays have lower roofs. Central 6-panel door and overlight in Doric
doorcase, with reeded pilasters and frieze, paterae and cornice. This is
flanked by canted bays with 16-pane and 8-pane sashes, stone sills, friezes
and cornices. All other windows are 16-pane sashes with stone sills and
flat stucco arches with voussoirs, apart from that to first-floor right-hand
bay which is a 16-pane side-sliding sash. Eaves cornice. Shaped kneelers,
stone coping to outside of central 3 bays and to end bays. End stacks.
