Farmhouse. Late mediaeval. Altered C.16 onwards. Modern appearance. Rough
cast rendered rubble, double Roman concrete tiles. Cross passage plan, 2 rooms.
Partly 2 storeys, partly one; 1 + 3 windows, modern casements; 3 to right hand
bays as dormers in attic. Left hand bay is C.19 with 5 bay return. Central
6 panel door under C.20 gabled porch. Interior, main part. East (left) room
has deep chamfered beam and a double ogee moulded stone fireplace. Second
chamfered beam, visible in cross passage. At first floor and roof are two (probably
raised) crucks. Each has a mortice and tenoned collar and saddle at the apex.
