(1) early C.16. Coarsely carved box without embellishment. Plain incised letters.
Matthew Waller/Vicar/1516. (2) Late C.18. Inscribed panels, now illegible,
pilasters and frieze With memento mori. Plain ashlar slab. Prominent pair.
The earliest known chest tomb in the area being that of Matthew Waller.
