House, now shop. Late C18-early C19 with later alterations. Brown brick in header
bond, C20 plain tile roof. 3 storeys. 2 bays. Ground floor: to right, passage
entrance to Tweddle's yard; C20 central door with flanking shop windows. First
and second floors: 16-pane sash windows with flush exposed sash boxes, ashlar sills
and flat arches. Brick end stacks. Rear wing has stepped brick eaves and a large
external brick stack at far end. To the right on the first floor, a late C19
wrought-iron bracket for a hanging sign.
