Inn, now empty premises and shop. Late C17 or very early C18, with C19 and later
alterations. No 105 much altered C20. Roughcast, pantile roof (C20 to No 105).
3 storeys originally, right-hand 2 bays converted to two storeys; 5 bays originally,
right-hand 2 bays made into 1 bay. Central segmental-arched passage opening with
gate. To left, C20 square bay window and 4-panel door below overlight; to right,
C20 projecting shop front. First 3 bays: 4-pane sash windows in flush exposed
sash boxes with projecting ashlar sills on first floor; 6-pane half-size sash
windows in flush exposed sash boxes on second floor. 4th and 5th bays: unsympathetic
single 4-light casement window. Large dentil eaves course. Brick stack left.
No 104 has an old rear wing, of 2 builds, 3 storeys, with stepped eaves and an
external end stack to right end. Interior: roof of No 104 has one collared
principal rafter roof truss. No 105 is listed for group value as part of the same
historic entity as No 104.
