Pair of houses, one now a bank. Early-mid C19 with alterations. Coursed
squared stone with plinth; No 17 painted. Pantiled roof with stone copings and
chimneys. 3 storeys, 4 bays in all, slightly irregular. No 17 has C20 door
with overlight under modern flat hood on iron brackets. No 18 has a replaced
6-panel door in pilaster-and-entablature surround. No 17 has C19 sashes with
modern external shutters, No 18 has replaced glazing-bar sashes, all with stone
cills. Curved kneelers to roof copings; ridge and end coped chimneys. No 17
included for group value.
