4/3 Ballroom, 25 yards to west
of Newtons

Cottages, now ballroom. C17. Rubble, double Roman tiles. Formerly 2 storey
irregularly placed windows and doors. South elevation has two plank doors with
ovolo moulded fronts, one under a depressed arch stone lintel. North has later
plank doors. Interior: at east two storeys remain with inglenook fireplace,
winder stair and chamfered beam. C19 roof over open dance floor elsewhere.
