Farmhouse and cottage, now 2 dwellings. Late C18 or early C19. Finely-coursed
squared tooled sandstone. Roofs renewed in modern clay pantiles, with stone
stacks and dressings. 2 storeys, 5 bays in all. No 12 (the farmhouse part) has
6-panel door with overlight in early-Victorian pilaster-and-entablature
surround; No 10 has a 4-panel door in similar surround. Windows of No 12 are
16-pane sashes in wood architraves. No 10 has a C19 canted bay window, with
altered glazing, on ground floor; and C20 pivoted windows above. Stone gable
copings and kneelers; stacks at ends and junction. No 10 is included for group
value.
