House, 1819 dated on lintel with initials W.G. Coursed herringbone-
tooled sandstone with larger, rougher lower courses. (Probable
serial rebuilding of a hearth-passage house). Pantiled roof with
stone ridge, copings, kneelers and stacks. 2 storeys, 3 wide bays.
4-panel door between 2 left bays; flanking 3-light Yorkshire sashes
with extended lintels and tall keystones. Similar keystone to door
lintel. Similar lintel on ground floor in right bay but a plain
one above, possibly a raising or a granary. Centre and end corniced
chimneys. Rear shows door in hearth-passage position, and short
1-storey gabled wing. 1-storey stable attached at end has one
stable-type door and another in gable end.
Interior shows traces of former through-passage door in front wall.
Small, extruded brick rear extension is not of special interest.
