House, probably early C18 raised in late C18. Large herringbone-
tooled sandstone on plinth; smaller, more regular stonework in
upper courses. Pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings and stacks.
Main house 2 storeys, 3 bays, irregular; 1-storey downhouse and
extruded porch at left. Inserted door in south wall of downhouse.
Yorkshire sashes under extruded, keyed lintels, except for small
fire window at left. Rear elevation shows modern inserted off-centre
door and irregular small casements. Cross-passage door in right bay
blocked and window inserted.
Interior shows beamed ceilings, fire beam and heck partition in
forehouse.
Conservatory at south end is not of special interest.
