(Shown as Carlton Tower Farm on OS map). Farmhouse and stable/byre.
C18. 2 builds. Coursed squared stone, larger (possibly earlier) at
left. Roof renewed in large C20 pantiles; stone copings and kneelers;
brick and stone chimneys. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the 2 left bays wider.
In third bay a boarded door under flush, keyed lintel. On ground
floor large Yorkshire sashes, under keyed lintel at right and in
slightly-lengthened chamfered reveals at left. First floor smaller
Yorkshire sashes, those at left in chamfered surrounds showing traces
of lost mullions. One-storey left outhouse extension. Corniced
stone stacks at left, old brick stacks at ends of right part.
Curved kneelers in front, square behind. Small fire window in right
gable end. Long one-storey right outbuilding with boarded door and
small C20 windows. Gabled rear stair wing with lean-to in angle.
Interior: heavy transverse beams; some 2-panel and some 6-panel
doors.
