Wayside Cottage

GV II

House, one of an irregular row, mid-late C18. Coursed herringbone-
tooled sandstone; pantiled roof with stone ridge and stacks. 2
storeys, 1 wide bay. Top-glazed six-panel door, under extended
keyed lintel, at right. 3-light Yorkshire sashes with cills, that
on ground floor under similar lintel. Stepped and cornice-banded
end stacks, the left shared with neighbour.
