GV II*
Former wing of Busby Hall, now holiday cottages, adjoining north
side of Busby Hall. Possibly C16 in origin but refronted in late
C18 or early C19. Herringbone-tooled sandstone; grey pantiled roof
with stone ridge, copings and stacks.
2 storeys, 7 bays. First floor band with quoins above, suggesting
2 phases of rebuilding. 6-panel double doors, in second and third
bays from right, have 3-pane overlights and architraves. Similar
architraves to 12-pane sashes with projecting cills. Centre and
left end corniced chimneys. Rear elevation 7 bays: alternating
plain wall areas with 3 tall, wide buttresses. Irregular fenestration
with 12-pane sashes (some replaced) in architraves. Half-glazed
door, with 3-pane overlight, in third bay, in similar architrave.
Two 6-pane sashes at ground floor left. Remains of a corbelled-out
chimney and traces of older window surrounds in the walls.
