Formerly office of Board of Guardians, now Building Society premises. Early C19.
Brown brick. Stucco cornice to front. Hipped Welsh slate roof. Central chimney. 2
storeys, 3 bays. The wider central bay is recessed slightly and contains a
single-storey square bay window which appears to be an addition. Above this is a
stucco panel and a tripartite segmental arched window with glazing bars. To the ground
floor an entrance to the left,and window to the right with round heads. To each side
above a single blank arched panel. To the rear, two 16-pane sashes. Pevsner, N.,
