Public house and adjoining house. Probably C16. Timber framed, cased in reddish brown
brick. Section of cruck visible in north wall. Stone plinth to front wall and row of
large stones at base of north wall. Dentilled eaves and 1st floor string course.
Steep pantile roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. C19 entrances with wooden doorcases and 2
canted bays to ground floor. Squat sash windows with segmental arched heads in flush
cases. Interior: sections of massive chamfered beams visible on ground floor
ceilings.
