House, now 2 dwellings. Mid-late C18 with later alterations. Red-brown local
brick. Pantile roof. Chimneys to ends and ridge (2nd bay from left). Two storeys,
4 irregularly spaced 1st floor windows. Former lobby-entry plan.
Ground floor: No 137: central 4-panel door with oblong fanlight in doorcase with
consoles supporting a pediment. Flanked by C19 canted bays with sashes.
No 139: Modern door with oblong fanlight with margin lights in wooden architrave.
Probably corresponds to original entry. To left a C19 canted bay with sashes. 1st
floor stepped 3-course band.
C19 sashes to 1st floor, those to No 137 tripartite. Included for group
considerations.
