Springhead House


House. Mid C18. Red-brown local brick in Flemish bond. Stepped 3 course 1st floor
band. Wood eaves cornice. Swept pantile roof with raised verges and end stacks.
Two storeys, 2 bays. Central C19 six-panel door with oblong fanlight with reeded
pilasters and consoles supporting a pediment. 16-pane sashes in flush wood
architraves with painted splayed lintels. Tumbled-in brickwork to gable end.
