House and cottage, now one dwelling. Two builds. Late C18-early C19 and early-mid
C19. House (to right): red-brown brick. Slate roof with stone coping and kneelers
and end brick chimneys. Two storeys, 3 bays. Central entrance has 6-panel door
with decorated radial fanlight in doorcase of attached reeded columns with consoles
supporting a dentilled pediment, frieze with roundels and roundels in the
spandrels. Flanked by late C19 canted bays with sashes and modillion cornices.
Above 16-pane sashes in flush wood architraves under stucco lintels with keyblocks
and cills. Dentilled eaves. Cottage to left; pale brown brick. Slate roof, stone
coping and kneeler end chimneys. Two storeys, 2 bays. Central 6-panel door with
oblong fanlight with glazing bars in architrave under stucco lintel with keyblock.
16-pane sashes, in flush wood architraves under stucco lintels with keys and cills.
Dwarf wall to front with stone coping ramped up between house and cottage with
simple iron railings and gates.
