3/7 Bridge Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Early C19 with earlier core. Deeply-coursed, squared
and horizontally-punched sandstone, Welsh slate roof. 3-bay main
range with outshut to rear right and wing to rear left. 2 storeys,
3 windows to 1st floor. Central C20 door with shouldered plain-
ashlar surround and frieze, cornice. Flanking 16-pane renewed
sashes (boarded up) in square-faced surrounds. 3 similar windows
to lst floor, narrower central window has much damaged sash. Paired,
moulded, stone gutter brackets. Left end stack missing, right end
stack built in wallstone has moulded cornice. Rear: remains of double-
chamfered mullion windows to outshut (now enclosed within later
additions which are not of special interest).

Interior: earlier core evidenced by timber wallpost visible in
first-floor room to rear right. Building presently unoccupied
and in an unfortunate state of disrepair.
