farmhouse.

GV II

Barn. Probably late C17. Roughly-coursed sandstone rubble, Welsh
slate roof. 2 storeys, now one, 3 bays. Quoins. Side away from
house: blocked central doorway in chamfered quoined surround.
Blocked raised doorway to right represents an enlarged earlier opening.
To left of centre a mid-height opening with a blocked earlier opening
to its right at eaves. To far left a blocked window with triangular
head, small double-chamfered light above. Rear: enlarged cart entrance
now spanned by steel girder. To right, blocked quoined doorways to
ground and first floor and a blocked double-chamfered window. Left
gable: another blocked double-chamfered window.
Interior: no remains of former 1st floor. 2 principal rafter trusses
with raking struts and double purlins. Inserted later truss at one end.
Attached farmbuildings not of special interest.
