ST 35 NE BANWELL WINTHILL ROAD

4/58 Winthill Cottage

Cottage. C17, C19 extension. Rendered rubble, pantile roof. 2-unit cross passage,
staircase altered. 2 storeys, 2 windows, all C19 2-light casements, central C20
half-glazed door under ramshackle, lean-to porch. Centre and end stacks; single
storey catslide extension at rear. Interior: cross passage with chamfered beam,
room to right (east) bar been above massive, blocks rightnook, balustered C18
ventilation grill to adjacent cupboard; room to left has 3 step chamfered axial
beams and an inglenook with chamfered bressumer and deep, coved mantile; staircase,
altered to single flight runs from right room; roof stzucture not visible.
