Two cottages. Early C18, wing late C18. Coursed rubble stone, brick wing,
Welsh slate to upper roof, stone slate to lower roof. Single-cell cottages,
that to right with rear wing, giving L-shape. Two storeys, one 1st-floor window
each. Left cottage has two 2-light double-chamfered windows to ground floor
and one to 1st floor (mullions removed), plus a further blocked light. Straight
joint with quoins to right between cottages. Right cottage has a single-light
window to each floor and a slender light to far right at intermediate level.
Beyond this is the forge building (q.v.). Two brick stacks. Rear: the brick
wing is to the left. The main part has a later central door and two bays of
4-pane sashes in plain surrounds. Right return: single-storey rubble-walled
lean-to addition. Blocked 1st-floor window, and blocked 2-light double-chamfered
window in gable apex.
Interior: moulded beams to ground floor.
