4/51 Gazebo and terrace wall 20
metres south of Christon Court

Gazebo. C17, reroofed C19. Rubble and stud, formerly rendered, pantile roof.
Single room, 2.5 metres square on terrace. Northern entry facade now shows only
remnants of stud wall with moulded door frame; west stud wall has collapsed
revealing rear of later inserted rubble wall; east wall has ovolo moulded
transmullioned timber window, lower half blocked; south wall to road which
stands 4 metres high in terrace wall has fragmentary remains of similar blocked
window and lower blocked opening. Interior has panelled C17 privy seat.
Terrace wall on which gazebo stands continues westward at a height of about
2.5 metres for some 50 metres to junction with west garden wall.
