Bridge. Dated ' S : 1758 ' for the 2nd Earl of Strafford. Rock-faced,
rusticated sandstone ashlar. Single span. Ashlar soffit to round arch with
voussoirs. Band and ashlar blocking course slope up from each side to horizontal
section above arch, date at centre of south side. Later stone steps to south-east
corner. Stone benches set behind parapet which formerly had a balustrade
(illustrated in Country Life, Oct. 25th 1924, p641).
