Cowhouses now 2 dwellings. Early C18, c1980 conversion. Coursed, squared
sandstone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 : 3 bays, single-storey wing to
rear left. Large quoins. Quoined central doorway now with casement beneath
original flat arch with cambered head. C20 two-light casements with glazing
bars in new openings with plain lintels, single-light window to right of centre,
part-glazed door to bay 4. Higher eaves line to bays 3-5. Shaped kneelers,
chamfered gable copings. C20 end stack on right has tabling, another stack in
front of ridge between bay 2 and 3. Included for group value.
